Edgar Valverde,
ASE-Certified Technician

Edgar was born in Mexico City and moved to Santa Barbara about 11 years ago. He is 33 years old and has been in the automotive industry for about 13 years. Edgar joined Osborn’s in May 2009 and says he has enjoyed every minute of it. Before coming to Osborn’s Edgar worked for a Swedish only shop in Santa Barbara. He also worked for Santa Barbara Auto Group previously known as Cutter Motors. In Goleta, California, Edgar worked for Advanced Automotive that was an independent shop. He then moved to Anaheim and worked at Mike’s Foreign Car Inc. where they specialized mainly on German cars. Edgar is an ASE Master Technician, he is Advanced Diagnostic Certified, and he holds an A.S. in Automotive Technology at SBCC as well as a Certificate in Automotive Technology at SBCC.

He is a World Traveler and can speak 4 different languages, Spanish, English, French, and German. Edgar loves playing the piano, listening to music, and working with anything that can fly, float, or move. His favorite cars to drive and to work on are European cars. Edgar has a passion for fuel-efficient vehicles that are powerful, as well as new forms of energy. He is interested in computers, electricity, physics, chemistry, and science. On the weekends, Edgar likes to take people on wine tasting tours in Santa Barbara. In is free time he likes to go to concerts, ride his bike on the coast, and to go swimming. He is also interested in Web Design. Edgar likes challenges and says that change is his way of life.
